Additional male member to the Breast Cancer Haven team (to Tom’s relief)
July 8th, 2009 by Tom. Posted in Uncategorized. Comments OffIt has been a few weeks now since my starring role on Calendar News and my five minutes of fame have virtually timed out (to my ultimate relief), needless to say Julie’s enthusiasm to work the calves of everyman in Yorkshire has not. My five minutes of fame (using the term extremely lightly) was not all in vein as the first High Heel-a-thon entry forms have come through our doors!
Luckily for me we have added a new member to the Breast Cancer Haven fundraising team and his name is Robert Siddle. Yes that’s right, his name is Robert! Another male member of the team defiantly makes my situation look a lot brighter and I feel no guilt whatsoever when I say I hope Julie finds him the highest heels she can find!
Julies first Job for Rob was to get him on the blower to as many sports teams as possible to see if she could find some burly sportsmen to pose for the media in high heels, (no man in the land is now safe!) to which Leeds United and Bradford Bulls expressed an interest…so watch this space.
