With only five weeks remaining until the big day, the team at High Heel-a-thon headquarters are working around the clock pulling together the delicate detail to make the day a huge success once again and there are some very exciting things to talk about!

The High Heel-a-thon team have been out and about in Leeds this week spreading the word and recruiting men and women to totter in their heels for Yorkshire Cancer Research. And I’m happy to report that the response has been outstanding!!! We were joined by the chairman of Yorkshire Cancer Research, Mark Stevens to promote the sign up of organisations teams on Briggate last week, along with students from Leeds University Football Club and Drama Society, who have already signed up their teams.

We launched High Heel-a-thon on Thursday 24th June at the Victoria Quarter in Leeds. The sun was shining as the teams from Clearsilver, Yorkshire Cancer Research and Victoria Quarter slipped into heels and took to the street. I can quite honestly say I got some interesting looks!

It’s that time of year again! High Heel-a-thon is back for 2010. We’ve had an exciting week in the office planning the route, which is all set to go! Along with putting together the plans for the big launch and speaking with a whole host of celebrities about getting involved!
