High Heel-a-thon Leeds 09

The boys and girls from Leeds Chamber of Commerce swapped their suits for feather boas and hot pink t-shirts to inject some glamour into the office!

Making a change from their football boots, the girls tottered around the pitch in some rather less practical alternatives. And although stilettos may not be the key to goal scoring success, the Vixens got into the spirit of the event by pulling some poses for Breast Cancer Haven.

Although the fans won’t see their team, tottering around the pitch in stilettos, as a worthwhile training exercise, they certainly got into the spirit. The Bulls looked beautiful, swapping boots for boas, although some seemed more than a little concerned about damaging their reputations!

Taking a break from mixing cocktails, the staff from Oporto get glammed up in t-shirts and heels to show their support for the High Heel-a-Thon.

Leeds United are backing the High Heel-a-thon event. The boys from Elland Road have shown their support by donning high heels and boas, and giving us all an eyeful of those luscious legs!

Dealing with direct mail, digital printing and e-commerce, it’s a surprise Lick had the time to round up their staff to pull some poses for Breast Cancer Haven. Fifteen of the Lick lovelies took time out to show their support for the cause, and had a whale of a time prancing around outside the building in feather boas and heels. Needless to say, it was the boys who had the most fun whilst sauntering around in stilettos!

President of Leeds, York and North Yorkshire Chamber of Commerce and Yorkshire Bank executive, Gary Lumby, has thrown his support behind the event. Gary has already signed up two teams from his senior managers for the High Heel-a-thon.

ITV Calendar’s Christine Talbot and Duncan Wood, and BBC Look North’s Christina Ackroyd, Paul Hudson and Harry Gration step into their 4-inchers and get into the spirit of the event!

To show their commitment to the charity full-back/centre, Ryan McGoldrick and full back Richard Owen have donned heels in support.
