Clearsilver launched the first ever UK High Heel-a-thon in 2009. The event was held in aid of The Haven, then known as Breast Cancer Haven.
The event was a resounding success and managed to raise more than £20,000 for the charity thanks to hundreds of participants who donned their heels for charity. With Kimberley Walsh fronting the walk, great coverage was gained on both a regional and national level in both print and broadcast media.
In 2010, the High Heel-a-thon was in aid of Yorkshire Cancer Research and was held in partnership with the Victoria Quarter in Leeds. The 1.5 mile route took in the city centre and saw a whole host of celebs taking part.
